5280 Feet

I did do laundry, didn't grocery shop, and read one journal. I also watched 'The Green Mile' on TV tonight. Apparently it is really dusty in my apartment and this was irritating my contacts lenses because my eyes were watering occasionally during the movie. I don't think my apartment is as dusty as the movie theatre that I watched 'Forrest Gump' in (especially the part where he is standing by the tree talking to Jenny's grave and pauses and says "he's so smart", I pretty much lose it everytime). A similar reaction can be elicited by Oz when watching 'Batteries Not Included", haha, sorry I had to bust you out brother.

Ushi, thanks for stopping by. There wasn't any dust during Titanic, but i swear there were two of the ship's survivors sitting behind me because they were crying uncontrollably.

I had a similar experience in Lion King when Mufasa get's thrown off the cliff by Scar. I cried so bad, broheme went from "it's okay hbiddy" to "IT'S JUST A MOVIE HBIDDY" and then he shrunk in his seat (we were in the theatre)

hbiddy, I like crying, but laughter is still better

Hey Oshariff, sorry I don't normally comment on random people's blogs (ok maybe I do sometimes) but I just did the same thing this weekend at a friend's house... and go figure, it was at 'girls night' with tonnes of girly movies...her husband came back home and said, 'umm.. is shaheen crying??' and another person responded, 'Yeah, ever since opening credits!!'

and hbiddy!! my friend did the same thing to me in Lion King except I was the one sinking in the seat... she was balling her eyes out and then says to me in a loud crying voice, "Are YOU crying tooo?"

shaheen, thanks for reading, i guess i'm supposed to be all macho and never cry, well i am macho (and modest) and the last time i cried was when i was eight and cut my hand open and i only cried becuase i knew my mom would get mad at me. but, ever so often, a good movie, exceptionally cute kid, or being hurt will cause a tear or two to be shed.

i would try to fake cry right before broheme and i were about to get beat after we fought. there's no justice *sob*

Chai, I have more stories of beatings, near beatings, and fake crying than anyone. You haven't seen tears until you have been in a bike wreck and had a giant scab on your knee and then been hit directly on the scab by a souvenir louisville slugger baseball bat. Check yourself before you wreck yourself foo!
